Riftway Cataclysm’s Beta Release

Hey wargamers,

I'm proud to announce the Beta Release of Riftway Cataclysm. I've put a lot of thought and effort into building what I think is a better wargame, one where you always get to play with your favorite models, victory feels fair and hard earned, and where players are principle story tellers. This has been a one person passion project that's consumed my every night and weekend for the past year and I'm giving it away for free. My only goal right is to get people playing Riftway Cataclysm, and I hope you'll be one of them. It's a fun game and I want to share that with folks.

This is a beta, so I’m craving feedback. If you're so kind as to play the game, please tell me about it in our discord. I want to hear your thoughts, your army builds, and your dramatic gambles. I need intergalactic soldiers, such as yourself, to help us find and eliminate all the rough edges until Riftway Cataclysm is its most refined self. I also want you to join the community and help add your canon to the infinite canon that is the Riftway Chronicles. No matter what it’s about, I want to get to know any kind soul who wants to join me in this wargaming adventure.

A big thanks to the independent sculptors who agreed to let me paint and promote their work: Mortian, Artisan Guild, Terrain 4 Print, Sacrusmundus, and Fabricators Lair. Hopefully this is the first of many artists I have the privilege to promote. My hope in releasing a miniatures game without a model line is that people can discover the amazing 3d printed work that's out there on Etsy and MyMiniFactory. Wargaming doesn't have to be expensive.

Also, a big thanks to every friend that helped me playtest this game in my garage. Wargaming is a gateway to do many great friendships and I hope that an all inclusive and inexpensive wargame like mine can make that easier.
